The Independents Hall community has a place to call home, and that's our coworking space. It is located at 20 North 3rd Street in Old City Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
We're less than a block from many of the city's most popular restaurants and bars, ideal for lunch and dinner, as well as client entertainment.
We're on the 2nd floor, and occupy 4400 square feet of open air workspace.
We currently have 35 desks, with a mix of usage between permanent (full time) membership and different levels of flexible membership.
We have power and gigabit ethernet run to every desk, and 802.11n dual band wireless coverage of the entire office, backed by cable internet that provides 20mbps down, 3mbps up.
We have a conference room available for meetings and phone calls, which is available by reservation or availability. It comfortably seats 8-10 people, and can also be reserved by the day for team meetings and code jams.
We have digital projectors and other audio/visual equipment available by request.
We have lockers available for non-permanent members to store things in between visits.
We have a black and white laser multifunction printer that is available over the network, for your printing, scanning, and copying needs.
We have over 300 square feet of whiteboard for brainstorming and idea mapping.
We buy and brew Old City Coffee, and do our best to keep the pot fresh. We also have a microwave for making warm lunches.
We have a lounge with a La-z-Boy recliner, two super comfy sofas, an X-Box 360, and a library of books and magazines for relaxing, unwinding, reading, taking a nap, or enjoying a game of Guitar Hero.
And most importantly, we have people. Some of the smartest, interesting, creative, talented, and driven people in the city of Philadelphia, for you to work along side.
