There’s a hole in the floor. Have you seen it? It’s very huge/cool. Let’s be clear, though, that this is a lot more than a sliced-out slab of concrete – it’s the incredible prelude to a remarkable transition, one which we wouldn’t be able to make happen without each and every one of you. This week, celebrate everything you’ve ever done for the Hall: every drop-in day, each Show ‘n Tell, every greeting to a new member, every new pot of coffee, all of those nights at National Mechanics. During tours, I sometimes say that the kitchen area is the heart of Indy Hall. That’s wrong. You are the heart of Indy Hall.
I may never have the opportunity to say this again, and I kind of hope that I don’t:
Thanks for putting a giant hole in our floor.
Welcome, Indy Hall’s Latest!
