I'm 2 days later than a week, but thought I'd throw this out, just in case...

bahdeebahdu has a unique 4,000 sqft studio-showroom that's been outfitted with some great furniture and our signature lighting sculptures. For you requirements, we're hardwired with great sound and can roll up our double garage doors for a lil' indoor/outdoor feel. You're welcome to byob/food too, so no extra costs required. Located on North American Street in the Kensington South neighborhood, like you we're trying to establish a (design-arch-art) community in conjunction with the Crane Arts Building, InLiquid, KSNAC and others.

Email me if you're interested... Thanks and good luck!

The World Cafe Live meets all your requirements. It's a fabulous venue that can hold a ton of people, has a great bar and food, and of course a stage and sound system as they are a music venue.

The bad part is, I don't have any connections myself, but maybe someone does. And I have no idea how much it would cost.

One of our friends organized a pretty bangin' party for New Year's Eve last year at the Starlight Ballroom. There isn't really outside space, aside from a parking lot area in the back, but the other requirements (big space + alcohol + stage) are definitely met...
