Thanks to all the Independents Hall crew that came all the way to West Chester for the Restaurant Festival yesterday. They bravely fought their way through 20,000 other visitors to taste and test 50 restaurants and foodie vendors from the Greater West Chester Area. It was a huge success (specifically for WC Dish traffic, it tripled our best day ever). We're already scheming for next years events!

Thanks again for the community support, it's what make Independence Hall great!

Thanks for the plug Alex, really appreciate the support.

If you're a blogger, especially a foodie blogger, make sure you stop by the booth for your VIB (very important blogger) ID. It will be a great way to promote your own blog as you walk around and talk to the vendors/chefs/restaurant owners.

Think West Chester's played out? Don't bet on it. In the last year WC has seen a slew of new restaurants that will be flaunting their stuff at this year's festival. Here are some of the new kids on the block (omg I just referenced NKOTB unintentionally) that are making headlines in WC:
Butterfish
Pietro's Prime
Doc McGrogans
Land Mark Americana
Limoncello Ristorante

Just go to www.wcdish.com for more details

Hope you can make it, and your all invited to hang out after the festival with the WC Dish crew at a local watering hole (yet to be determined). Just stop by the both around 5pm and we'll let you know.
